Key Scripture:
Acts 2:17 (NIV)
"In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people..."

Pentecost wasn't simply an event to celebrate—it was the beginning of a new way of living. God poured out His Spirit so His people could live differently, love differently, and serve differently until Christ returns.

As you reflect on Sunday's message, ask yourself these three questions.

1. Am I Walking Daily in the Power of the Holy Spirit?

Scripture:
Galatians 5:25 (NIV)
"Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit."

The Holy Spirit isn't only for dramatic moments in church services. He desires to guide us through everyday conversations, difficult relationships, important decisions, and unexpected opportunities.

Think back to Peter at Pentecost. The same man who once denied Jesus stood boldly before thousands because he was empowered by the Holy Spirit. God still gives His people wisdom, courage, and the right words at the right time.

The Christian life was never intended to be lived by human effort alone.

Ask yourself:

- Am I intentionally seeking the Holy Spirit's guidance each day?

- Do I pause to pray before difficult conversations and decisions?

- Can others see the fruit of the Spirit in my life?

2. Who Am I Encouraging in Their Walk with Christ?

Scripture:
2 Timothy 2:2 (NIV)
"And the things you have heard me say... entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others."

God never intended faith to stop with us. Every believer is both learning from someone and investing in someone else.

Whether you are young or old, you have something to contribute. Younger believers bring passion and fresh vision. Older believers offer wisdom, stability, and experience. The healthiest churches are those where generations intentionally build one another up.

Legacy isn't measured by what we accumulate but by who we influence for Christ.

Ask yourself:

- Who has helped shape my faith?

- Who am I intentionally encouraging today?

- Am I making room for younger believers to grow and serve?

3. Am I Living with Christ's Mission in Mind?

Scripture:
Matthew 5:16 (NIV)
"Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

We are living in the "last days," but God didn't leave us here to simply wait for His return. He left us here with a purpose.

Every conversation, every act of kindness, every invitation to church, every opportunity to serve is another chance to point someone toward Jesus.

The Holy Spirit empowers us not just for personal growth but for gospel impact.

Every day is another opportunity to be a witness.

Ask yourself:

- Who around me needs to hear about Jesus?

- What opportunity has God placed in front of me this week?

- Am I living intentionally or simply going through the motions?

Prayer:
Father, help me keep my eyes on Your mission. Open doors for me to share Your love and give me the courage to walk through them. Use my life to point others to Jesus until the day He returns. Amen.

Closing Thought

Living in the last days should never produce fear—it should produce faithfulness.

The Holy Spirit still empowers believers.
God is still building His Church.
Jesus is still saving people.

So today...

- Walk in the Spirit.

- Encourage the next generation.

- Live on mission.

"The same Spirit who empowered the early church is the same Spirit who empowers us today. Let's live like it."
